Rwanda Passport Ranking – Visa Free Access to 65 Countries

The Rwanda passport ranks 78th globally in 2025, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 65 destinations worldwide. This East African travel document has shown steady improvement in global mobility over the past two decades, climbing from 73rd position in 2006 with only 23 visa-free destinations to its current standing. While Rwandan passport holders still face travel restrictions compared to top-tier passports, the document provides moderate international mobility, particularly within the African continent and select countries that have established favorable diplomatic relations with Rwanda.
